early childhood Music programs

Parent and Tot

This is a fun and interactive program that provides a stimulating environment for babies and toddlers to develop musical concepts and important developmental skills.  Together with their moms, dads, or other caregivers, children will explore sounds and movements using a variety of musical instruments and activities. *Siblings 6 and under may attend*

Capacity: 10 children and caregivers

Schedule: 30 minutes/once a week

Children Classes

Kidz Beatz

If you like groovin’ this program is for you!  The Kidz Beatz program teaches children, ages 6 and up the fundamentals of rhythm.  These fundamentals are applied practically to the drums and percussion instruments. *Runs On Demand*

Capacity: 6 children

Schedule: 30 minutes/once a week

Numas

This class is designed for children ages 2-4.  Each lesson will expose the children to different styles of music and a variety of instruments.  Children will not only gain musical experience, but the lessons will also incorporate basic math and pre-reading skills.

Capacity: 4 children

Schedule: 30 minutes/once a week

Kids Voice

The voice program teaches young singers, ages 6 and up, how to use their singing voices in a healthy and beautiful way.  Through technical vocal warm ups and fun age-appropriate songs, participants will be encouraged to explore their voices and find ways to creatively express their sound. *Runs On Demand*

Capacity: 6 children

Schedule: 30 minutes/once a week  

Prelude

This is a three-level program designed for children ages 4-6.  Through various mediums, students will learn fundamental music concepts that can be transferred to the playing of any musical instrument.  Prelude 1 introduces musical aspects with a focus on rhythmic elements.

Schedule: 30 minutes/once a week

Kids guitar

In the kids guitar program participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of playing the guitar, technique and theory that can be implemented into a variety of styles of music.  Those with some experience will build on their knowledge and concepts while developing new playing skills.  For ages 6 and up. *Runs On Demand*

Schedule: 30 minutes/once a week

Adult Classes

Beginner Guitar

The adult beginner guitar course teaches adults the basics of playing guitar.  Each week participants will learn new chords, playing techniques, and styles on the guitar.  This class is taught in a friendly group environment where students are encouraged to learn, push their boundaries, and have fun.                  

*No previous music experience required!

Capacity: 10 adults
